Pingu is a penguin who lives in South Pole in a cool igloo with his father, a postman, his mother and his little sister Pinga.

In the Pingu's village there are many things encountered in common cities: amusement parks, schools, stores and many places to play and fun. The Pingu's best friend is other penguin called Pingo and he plays a lot with Robby, the seal.

The Pingu adventures were created in 1986 by Otmar Gutmann at his studio Tricksfilmstudio at Switzerland and are showned in little 5 min. episodes in many tv stations around the world. Here in Brasil, as i know, a few tv stations broadcast the show, like TV Cultura (SP) and too many people never heard about Pingu. But, around the world, like Japan and UK, there are many people who loves Pingu and have stuff related to the penguin and its family.

After a long time when we didn't have more than an obscure VHS collection published by BMG (a media enterprise in Brazil), various DVD titles with Pingu's adventures was published by TV Cultura and can be buy through our news section.
